Our favorite barely-seen it girl, Solange Knowles, made a rare appearance at the Calvin Klein show. And, as always, seeing the singer during fashion week is a welcome surprise. Whenever Knowles steps out, she brings her signature sense of understated fabulousness with her.

For the Spring/Summer 2027 show, Knowles, who is the face of their recent campaign, embraced Calvin Klein’s minimalist aesthetic in a sleek black mock-neck fitted top paired with a structured silk skirt that cascaded down to her ankles. A textured belt cinched her waist, adding definition to the otherwise streamlined silhouette, while a crisp white pump offered a subtle contrast.

And, of course, her signature hair was just as intentional. Knowles wore her blown-out curls loose, with a braid wrapped around the back of her head to slick down the top, while a sculpted curl swooped across the front for an effortlessly polished finish.

Her look felt perfectly aligned with Creative Director Veronica Leoni’s vision for the collection, which she described to L’Officiel as, “Remove everything. What remains is the desire.” Knowles’ paired-back approach mirrored the same philosophy, proving that minimalism can still make a major statement.

While Calvin Klein has long been synonymous with a minimal yet chic aesthetic, Leoni takes the codes of the house a step further for Spring/Summer 2027. Doubling down on the brand’s signatures, including coats, shirts, precise tailoring, and knee-length pencil skirts, she reimagines each through updated proportions and meticulous construction. The result is a collection that feels familiar yet distinctly new, allowing the essentials to speak for themselves.
